Job Summary
The Technical Report Writer is responsible for producing timely and accurate technicaland service reports for clients. This role supports the Operations Department byenhancing regional performance, productivity and efficiency through effective reportingmethods and strategies in line with Subsea Global Solutions (SGS) policies.
Essential Functions
- Collect relevant information for accurate job reporting, including field notes, video footage, drawings, and digital photos.
- Prepare and deliver professional and precise technical reports for each job, ensuring timely submission to clients.
- Review and share reports, video and photo media as required.
Maintain and manage regional department KPI requirements.
- Develop and optimize field staff reporting data standards.
Advance reporting techniques and delivery times to clients.
- Oversee and enhance 3rd party subcontractor reporting practices, ensuring quality, accuracy, and timeliness, including providing training as needed.
- Provide weekly updates on the status of outstanding reports and issues, addressing problems early and appropriately.
- Manage, update, and maintain CRM programs. Online Reporting tool, Share Point, Sales Force and Maintenance Pro.
- Maintenance Pro data entry for equipment services planning, schedules and logs.
- Model excellent customer service, safety practices, and foster a positive work
environment.
- Support other departments and employees in achieving SGS service, productivity, quality, and revenue goals.

Education/Experience Requirements
- Associate's or Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe, and Outlook.
- Experience with CRM programs such as SharePoint, Salesforce, and Maintenance Pro is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the Marine Industry preferred
- Must be able to legally work in the USA without restriction
