The Finance Manager leads core accounting and financial operations across a global environment. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, and effective financial management to support business performance.
The Finance Manager will oversee day-to-day accounting activities, lead the close process, and partner closely with operational teams to provide financial insight and support decision-making. This role supervises and develops the Finance & Accounting Analyst and reports to the Controller or Regional Finance Director.
• Oversee end-to-end accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and reconciliations
• Oversee vendor management processes, including reconciliations, issue resolution, and relationship management
• Lead and manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting
• Review and approve journal entries, accruals, and financial adjustments
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of underlying accounting transactions and financial data
• Ensure integrity of the general ledger and all financial records across entities
• Oversee bank and balance sheet reconciliations and resolution of discrepancies across accounts
• Maintain accuracy and control over cash management and financial transactions
• Ensure compliance with revenue and cost recognition, including cut-off procedures
• Deliver financial reporting and analysis, including variance analysis and insights for management
• Ensure completeness and consistency of accounting documentation and audit trails across all transactions
• Strengthen internal controls, policies, and approval processes
• Lead internal and external audit processes and ensure audit readiness
• Partner with Sales and Operations to gather and validate revenue, cost, and operational data to support accurate financial reporting and analysis
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
• Own and drive continuous improvement of accounting processes, systems, and controls
• Monitor financial performance, identify risks, and recommend corrective actions
• Supervise and support the Finance & Accounting Analyst
• Review work for accuracy, completeness, and timeliness
• Provide coaching and development to build team capability
• Manage workload prioritization and execution of key deliverables
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• 5–8+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, reporting, and controls
• Experience leading or supervising accounting functions
• Proven experience managing close processes and financial reporting
• Advanced Excel skills and ERP experience (NetSuite preferred) and BI tools
• Experience in international or multi-entity environments preferred
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
